A word used to describe a beautiful and bright being. Usually linked to a girl of average height with blonde hair and bright eyes.

BRINSCALL

Brinscall is my village. Located a few miles north-east of Chorley on the edge of the moors. Brinscall borders the similar sized villages of Withnell and Abbey Village.

The village was originally a small farming community, but in the 19th century, the thriving cotton industry moved in. The name Brinscall means 'burnt huts'.

My school is Brinscall St John's C.E. Methodist Primary School. We are lucky as we have a swimming pool in our village, opened in 1911. There is also an athletic club with tennis courts, bowling green, cricket and football pitches.
